ECM coating recommendations for iCell® GABANeurons include our preferred manual double-coating method with a fresh base layer of poly-L-ornithine (PLO) and a fresh top coat of laminin or use of a pre-coated poly-D-lysine (PDL) plate with a fresh coat of laminin according to our User’s Guide. These ECM options provide the amino acid base required for adherence and producing typical neurite outgrowth. The following ECMs are not recommended for use with iCell GABANeurons: gelatin, fibronectin, Matrigel, or collagen.
