Morphology assessments of iCell® GABANeurons confirm that neurites begin sprouting within a few hours of plating and that the neurite outgrowth has bipolar and multipolar states. Gene expression has been assessed for AMPA, kainate, NMDA, mGluRs, and GABARs. Electrophysiology testing has shown evoked and spontaneous action potentials and spontaneous electrical signals can be monitored by multielectrode array analysis according to our Application Protocol.
