Yes, iCell® Hepatocytes 2.0 are amenable to enzymatic dissociation of the monolayer from one vessel for subsequent transfer to an assay-specific vessel for either 2D or 3D culture. To preserve health and adhesion, cells require a gentle dissociation. After enzymatic treatment, gently pipette up and down several times at different locations in the well to collect cells. To preserve platability of the cells, the cell suspension should contain small clusters of cells, instead of a single cell suspension.
